WASHINGTON – In applauding Chairman Hatch, Senator Wyden and Chairman Ryan, Nancy McLernon, president and CEO of the Organization for International Investment (OFII), issued the following statement in response to the introduction of the bipartisan Trade Priorities and Accountability (TPA) Act:
“Today’s announcement of a bipartisan agreement on TPA is an important demonstration of our nation’s support for a robust trade agenda. Given that 90 percent of America’s foreign direct investment originates from countries based in TTIP and TPP countries, passage of TPA is critically important to increasing global investment in the United States and creating new American jobs.”
